Dr. Carol Ash is a board-certified sleep medicine specialist and fellowship-trained pulmonologist with more than 10 years’ experience in sleep medicine. Dr. Ash is Medical Director of Sleep for Life, one of the largest and most technologically advanced sleep laboratories in the Northeast.

She has been featured in both broadcast and print media, most recently of the Today show, The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet, WNBC News for You, WCBS News radio 880 and New Jersey Network News. She also has been interviewed by Prevention, More and Best Life magazines and The Star-Ledger, among others.

Topics of news interviews have included: sleep disorders and immunity, sleep quality and mood, sleep cycle disturbance and hormone release (related to menopause), sleep and women’s sexual dysfunction, Rapid Eye Movement deprivation and shift workers’ sleep disorders.

Dr. Ash is a graduate of Seton Hall University and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ).
